'My second tag ‘from flock to fabric’ is my certification that this wool is ‘reared sheared and spun in Britain ‘ and also certified by “ British Wool “ which is owned by 35,000 sheep farmers in the UK. Look out for ‘the hook’ symbol on other manufactured garments. 

This product is not made with ‘homespun’ wool, but manufactured through industrial processes.

The sheep are reared and sheared with ethical practices. That doesn’t not include automatically that each farmer has sustainable or regenerative farming practices. 

This wool has not been treated with a super-wash which means it does not have a polymer plastic coating. It is sustainable through the fact it could bio-degrade.'

Warning: the garment is therefore susceptible to shrinkage with heat or felting if rubbed when wet.
