Sky Blue Pink Mug

The glaze begins at the foot as celadon and sage, fades through blush, and deepens to a warm rose at the rim. The dark clay body breaks through at the edges — along the rim, down the handle. The interior is the same dusty rose. It's a mug that's beautiful to look into as well as at.

Thrown from black stoneware in my garden studio in St Werburghs, Bristol. Large — 300ml+ — made for a generous coffee or a long morning.

Glazed by hand, fired twice, sanded until it feels right to hold. Each one comes out of the kiln a little different.

Dishwasher safe. Made to be used daily.

Each piece is handmade so dimensions and glazing may slightly differ within the batch.
